Saurabh is a fourth year PhD Candidate in the Neuroscience Graduate Program at McMaster University, supervised by Dr. Sue Becker. He completed a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from McMaster University. He is also a postgraduate affiliate of the Vector AI Institute in Toronto. After previously working on medical imaging improvements using machine learning, his research interests are currently focused on using machine learning tools to develop neurotechnologies aimed at improving clinical diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders, specifically PTSD. He is collaborating with HRI to accomplish this by investigating the neurological impact of augmentative interventions such as neurofeedback and goal management training.
